Pantone Colour Of The Year 2019 - Coral

Hello there,

I hope your wedding planning is coming along well? who's getting married this winter?

You may or may not be aware but Pantone issue a colour of the year, this year 2019 it's Living Coral, so you can better ya bottom dollar that their will be an influx of peach and coral themed weddings this year.

Beautiful colour for spring and summer weddings.

With the coral theme in mind, here are a few ways to incorporate the coral (or shades of peach) into your wedding theme.

1. Wedding Dress

Dare to be different? traditional ivory and white dresses are not floating your boat, why not opt for a beautiful light coral or peach wedding dress for maximum impact.

2. Wedding Shoes

If you want to wear a white or ivory dress but want to incorporate the colour theme, shoes are a great way to add that pop of colour in a discreet way.

3. Wedding Bouquet

Adding colour into your wedding normally starts with the wedding flowers and bridesmaid dresses.  Adding different shades of coral and peach into your bouquets this year will be a big hit, add lots of greenery for a more rustic look.

4. Bridesmaid Dresses

Of course, the most obvious way to add the coral theme to your wedding is your bridesmaid dresses. you will probably find this colour popping up in most bridal shops this year.

On a tight budget? Have you checked out Dorothy Perkins lately, they have some amazing coral bridesmaid dresses around £30, pop over to DP's and check out their website.

5.  Wedding Cake

If you want to keep your colour scheme minimal but only wants hints of coral or peach then why not add some real flowers to your wedding cake.

6. Wedding Venue

Brining in touches of coral with your table flower, favours and napkins is an a wonderful way to tie in the colour theme.

7. Wedding Party Gifts

When it comes to those wedding party thank you gifts (obviously this is a Wildfig Weddings product) choose gifts with a hint of coral to be bang on trend in 2019.

8. Drinks

If you are anything like me and every thing has to match, then make sure you offer pretty coral and peach welcome drinks...every little detail counts.

Hopefully that inspires you a little, if you have planned a coral themed wedding for this year then do lets us know where you have incorporated the colour.

Have a lovely week

Clare x
